Housing Co. is an indie pop-rock band from Salisbury, Maryland, crafting a bright, coastal-inspired sound that blends shimmering guitar tones with raw emotional storytelling. Their music captures the energy of summer nights, heartbreaks, and small-town drives — a warm mix of indie pop hooks and rock grit. Formed at Salisbury University, the band began as a dorm-room project between Ethan Cohen and Connor Howes, originally called Howes and Co. before evolving into Housing Co.

 

Ethan soon invited high school friend and lead guitarist Connor Lewandowski to join. He also met future bassist, vocalist, and producer Trey Niccolini during an Information Systems class — when Trey started making a beat with a pair of scissors, and Ethan couldn’t help but drum along. A spontaneous jam session followed, and the full lineup was born.

 

Three weeks after forming, Housing Co. entered Salisbury University’s Battle of the Bands and won, propelled by strong student support. That momentum led to their first major opportunity: opening for Surfaces at Nest Fest 2022. Shortly after, their debut single Clueless went viral on TikTok, drawing national attention. Their first album One More Day was recorded entirely in Trey’s bedroom and released in February 2023, just as their online audience was rapidly growing.

 

Their sophomore album Homecoming—recorded entirely in the band’s self-built living room studio—released August 8th, 2025. Since their start, Housing Co. has played over 60 shows along the Eastern Shore, while actively scheduling more, so stay tuned!
